State Medicaid programs are increasingly turning to nursing centers to help care for more complex patient populations. In this session, attendees will learn how two states, with different Medicaid delivery systems—fee for service and managed care, have structured specialty rates for Medicaid residents with behavioral health needs. They will then hear the perspective of a provider about clinical and operating considerations.
