In the 21-years of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award program, only 31 organizations have achieved the Gold award. These top-performing organizations embrace the values of the criteria, and have the outcomes to show it. Attendees are invited to this facilitated round-table session to learn insights, lessons learned and best practices from these amazing leaders.

Urvi Patel, MPH

Director, Quality Improvement

Urvi Patel, is a passionate advocate for quality. At AHCA, she works diligently to direct the Quality Awards program working with both providers and Examiners to ensure a valuable and equitable experience. She actively pursues issues that directly impact the workforce and most recently, she has driven the conversation related to Mandatory Electronic Payroll Collection. She presents on many workforce issues as well as topics related to the Quality Awards.

Urvi received her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan. Prior to her tenure at AHCA she served as an Administrative Intern for the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation and the Chelsea Retirement Community.
