LTC Trend Tracker is a one stop shop for all your needs in this data driven atmosphere. With multiple tools and report types, assisted living providers and skilled nursing providers can harness the often-untapped power of data you collect. This session will provide an overview of several key LTC Trend Tracker features & reports, coupled with case examples from your peers to demonstrate how AHCA/NCAL members are using these features to support implementation of quality programs, pursue operational excellence and enhance external negotiations with entities like hospitals, managed care organizations and other payors.

Examples of data at work will include:
1. Creating a forecast for SNF VBP fiscal impact
2. Identify the quality metrics that are preventing you from seeing an increase in Five-Star ratings
3. Starting your facility assessment with an overview of your patient population
4. Completing the analytics section of Quality Awards Application
5. Selecting the right benchmark groups and risk adjusted metrics to tell your quality story

Lonnita Myles, a native of the Washington DC Metropolitan area has been at AHCA/NCAL for 4 years. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from St. John’s University in New York City, and an M.B.A. in Business Marketing from Capella University. Working with the Quality, Regulatory and Research team throughout her time at AHCA/NCAL, and having also partnered with the Finance and Legal team at AHCA/NCAL on various projects, she has centered her work around intensifying the organization’s quality improvement efforts.

As a Co-Manager of the LTC Trend Trackersm system, Myles continues to provide education and training on LTC Trend Trackersm, and how this resource can be used to further assisted living and skilled nursing facilities on their quality journeys by assessing and analyzing their data.

Gautami Inamdar

Manager, Quality & LTC Trend Tracker
AHCA/NCAL

Gautami Inamdar joined AHCA/NCAL in November 2016, as Manager in their Quality, Regulatory, and Research Department. In her current role, she is primarily responsible for the educational, development, and data management efforts for LTC Trend Tracker. Prior to joining AHCA/NCAL, she gained five years of experience in public affairs and government relations focused on patient advocacy. Gautami earned her Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Web Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Lindsay Schwartz, PhD

Associate Vice President, Workforce & Quality Improvement
American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living

As Associate Vice President of Workforce and Quality Improvement for the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), Dr. Schwartz develops and implements quality improvement initiatives, including quality measurement development and data collection. She also oversees workforce initiatives for the organization. Dr. Schwartz earned her Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. During graduate school she worked as a research assistant for the National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS) and completed a Health Fellowship in the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Subcommittee on Aging and Retirement. Prior to attending graduate school, Dr. Schwartz worked in home and community-based services in different roles including as direct care staff and as a case manager for an Area Agency on Aging. She serves as current Chair of the Center for Excellence in Assisted Living (CEAL) Board of Directors, Co-Convener for the Gerontological Society of America's (GSA) Assisted Living Interest Group, and as a mentor for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Policy Research Scholars program. Dr. Schwartz earned her B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Business from Indiana University.
