DA-1 - Behold the Power of Data

Monday, October 8
7:45 AM - 9:00 AM
CE: NAB: 1.25 | Nurses 1.25

LTC Trend Tracker is a one stop shop for all your needs in this data driven atmosphere. With multiple tools and report types, assisted living providers and skilled nursing providers can harness the often-untapped power of data you collect. This session will provide an overview of several key LTC Trend Tracker features & reports, coupled with case examples from your peers to demonstrate how AHCA/NCAL members are using these features to support implementation of quality programs, pursue operational excellence and enhance external negotiations with entities like hospitals, managed care organizations and other payors.

Examples of data at work will include:
1. Creating a forecast for SNF VBP fiscal impact
2. Identify the quality metrics that are preventing you from seeing an increase in Five-Star ratings
3. Starting your facility assessment with an overview of your patient population
4. Completing the analytics section of Quality Awards Application
5. Selecting the right benchmark groups and risk adjusted metrics to tell your quality story
