The Silver Quality Award is a significant step in the Quality Award journey, requiring organizations to have not only strong systems and positive outcomes, but also a solid grasp of the criteria and scoring system. To effectively meet the demands of the criteria, organizations must first understand them. This mega-session will provide an overview of the demands of the Silver criteria and scoring system and demonstrate how organizations can respond effectively to the criteria. Applicants will also learn how best to use key resources including video series, sample applications, and past feedback reports. Insights from the people who train the Quality Award examiners make this session a must for any organization considering a 2019 application for a the Silver award.

- Apply the criteria to your organization as a tool for improvement
- Compare the silver criteria and scoring system to identify potential gaps between criteria demands and current organizational systems/processes
- Develop written responses that meet the demands of the Silver criteria
