Saturday, March 17
1:30 PM - 6:15 PM
Location: Osceola Ballroom D

Target Audience: Student

Learning Focus: Leadership and Career Development

Dental Education: Predoctoral

Throughout the educational pipeline, students gain knowledge of the work and discipline of dentistry from formal coursework and training, as well as through formal and informal networks and interactions with current students. Opportunities to learn from colleagues and experienced professionals of varying identities and backgrounds can foster successful leadership development and, ultimately, effective practice in a diverse society. This leadership development program will help students identify appropriate professional mentors, navigate campus politics and professional environments and develop skills for managing cultural identity in the context of the larger institution.
