Location: Vero Room

Target Audience: Faculty

Learning Focus: Assessment

Dental Education: General Dentistry

The purpose of this workshop is to enlighten participants to become aware of the e-portfolio (Electronic Portfolio) that exists in dental and medical school curriculums. The workshop will describe the components of the e-portfolio at New York University College of Dentistry and show how each section is filled out by the student and then assessed by the faculty. Routine updates of the e-portfolio by a student throughout their four years of dental school can give the student a tangible view of their professional growth. The workshop will show relevance to the enhancement of dental education.
