Accessibility and affordability are significant barriers in receiving dental care. What if you could provide quality patient care to diverse populations within a community, serve as a resource for oral health knowledge and education while providing an interprofessional outlet for students and other healthcare professionals?
Mobile Dental Units are a good alternative for provisions of dental services. Dental hygiene students can gain valuable clinical experiences by utilizing state of the art technology. The vision of this session is to be a resource for obtaining and utilizing a successful mobile unit and to discuss service learning opportunities available.
