Kelsey Donnellan serves as a Health Improvement Analyst at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. ASTHO is the national nonprofit organization representing the public health agencies of the United States, the U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia, as well as the more than 100,000 public health professionals these agencies employ. Kelsey has over four years of work experience in public health and is a graduate of the Milken Institute School of Public Health Master of Public Health program. She received her B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she shifted food procurement policy to local farms and built a community garden. At ASTHO, she supports projects related to healthy aging and heart disease and stroke prevention. In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Prevention (CDC) and International Association for Indigenous Aging (IA2), she developed health communications campaigns about heart and brain health and caregiving in Indian Country.
