Andrea J. Singer, MD, FACP is Associate Professor of Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology at Georgetown University Medical Center. She is Chief of Women's Primary Care and is also the Director of the Bone Densitometry Program within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Singer serves as the Clinical Director for the National Osteoporosis Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the organization. She is a national leader in primary care and women's health and has published and lectured extensively on such topics as osteoporosis, the primary care of women, midlife women's health, obesity and weight management, female sexual dysfunction, fibromyalgia, regional pain syndromes, and depression in women. She is active in the education of both medical students and residents at Georgetown University Medical Center as well as in numerous regional and national continuing medical education programs. She is an esteemed member of multiple medical advisory boards and consulting panels, and is also a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
