Arnold Wald

Arnold Wald, MD, MACG, is Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where he is in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. His previous faculty appointments were at Johns Hopkins and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he spent the largest portion of his professional career. He has been active in the ACG for over 25 years, serving as a Governor for Western Pennsylvania, Chairman of the International Relations Committee, and as a member of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Wald has broad clinical and academic interests in many aspects of gastroenterology. He has a particular interest in functional bowel disorders, gastrointestinal motility and pelvic floor disorders, particularly in women.
