Dr. Yadlapati is an esophageal specialist at the University of Colorado and directs the University of Colorado Reflux & Esophageal Diseases Center (CU-RED). Dr. Yadlapati completed her internal medicine training at the University of California Los Angeles and her gastroenterology fellowship training at Northwestern University where she pursued advanced esophageal physiology training, a T32 research fellowship, and her Masters in Health Services and Outcomes Research. Dr. Yadlapati is an active clinical researcher in the areas of gastroesophageal reflux disease, proton pump inhibitor use, esophageal motility disorders and eosinophilic esophagitis. Her primary focus regards diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for extraesophageal reflux. Dr. Yadlapati's expertise includes interpretation of esophageal physiologic testing including pH monitoring, esophageal manometry, and functional lumen imaging probe (FLIP).
