Dr. Linda Lee is an interventional endoscopist at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Associate Director of Endoscopy as well as Director of Women's Health in GI and Co-Director of the Pancreas Center. She has published and spoken extensively in the fields of EUS, pancreatic cysts, and chronic pancreatitis including important work confirming the utility of EUS-FNA without onsite cytopathology in diagnosing pancreatic masses as well as demonstrating the superiority of a new fork-tip core biopsy needle compared to standard FNA needles, clarifying the use of DNA markers in determining the presence of malignant pancreatic cysts, groundbreaking work on the utility of microRNA in diagnosing pancreatic cysts, and developing a more comprehensive model for the diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis incorporating EUS findings and behavioral risk factors. She co-chaired the NIDDK initiative on EUS in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases. In addition, she is the editor of an acclaimed textbook, "ERCP and EUS: A Case-Based Approach."
