Prasad G. Iyer, MD, MS, is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Dr. Iyer is a gastroenterologist with a clinical and research interest in Barrett's esophagus and esophageal carcinoma. His practice focuses on the screening/early detection and endoscopic therapy of early esophageal neoplasia and his research program is funded by the NIDDK, ACG, and the NCI.
