Dr. James S. Park is currently an associate professor of medicine, a medical director of liver transplantation, an associate director of Hepatology, and a director of Asian Liver Health Program at NYU Langone Health and NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Park graduated from School of Medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo and finished an internal medicine residency at New York University School of Medicine, a gastroenterology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a transplant hepatology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital and an Empire State Clinical Hepatology Research Training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Park is a chair of NYC Hepatitis B Coalition, is on the AASLD's steering committee of Hepatitis B Special Interest Group, and is a member of ACG's Education Committee. He is an UNOS certified transplant physician and has done extensive clinical research in viral hepatitis B, C, liver cancer and liver transplantation.
