Loren Fishman, MD, B.Phil.,(oxon.) is an Assistant Cliical Professor at Columbia University Medical School. He has an advanced degree in Foundations of Mathematics from Christ Church, Oxford, and spent 3 years in India studyin Yoga, one with B,K.S. Iyengar. He holds a B.S. with high honors from the University of Michigan. He has published 95 papers and 10 books, and is past President of the New York Society of PM and R. He has a private practice in Manhattan, where he lives with his wife. He has three grown children.

Dr. Groessl is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California San Diego, and is the Center Director of the UCSD Health Services Research Center. He is also a Principal Investigator and health services researcher at the VA San Diego Medical Center. He received his Clinical Psychology PhD in 1999 with a specialization in behavioral medicine/ health psychology. Dr. Groessl recently served as PI on a VA HSR&D funded 4-year RCT studying yoga for chronic low back pain among VA patients. He is also PI on an NIH funded study of yoga for chronic back and neck pain in active duty military personnel. His other areas of research include broader integrative health, health economics research, behavioral interventions, and patient self-management.
