Dr. Schneider is currently an assistant professor with the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Prior to this, he completed his PM&R residency and Interventional Spine Fellowship at Stanford University. Born in Canada before moving to Lexington, Kentucky in 2002, he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science and then completed medical school at the University of Kentucky. His research publications has focused on safety and outcomes related to spine interventions. He has presented at a variety of national meetings the past five years for the American Acedemy of PM&R, North American Spine Society, and Spine Intverention Society, as well as serves on multiple committees committee’s for these same societies.

Venu Akuthota

Professor
University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Akuthota is clinician, educator, and administrator with expertise in musculoskeletal and spine care. He was awarded with multiple grants including grants from the Foundation of PM&R and CU Health and Welfare Trust. He published extensively in the area of spine care and PM&R education in high impact journals including New England Journal of Medicine and The Spine Journal. Dr. Akuthota is Professor and Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado.
