Rosanna C. Sabini

Medical Director, Concussion Program
Northwell Health - Southside Hospital

Dr. Rosanna Sabini is board certified in Brain Injury Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her osteopathic medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship at Long Beach Medical Center and her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Sabini then went on to complete her fellowship in Traumatic Brain Injury at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and subsequently moved to Indianapolis for a brain injury directorship position. While in Indiana, she testified in the State Senate to assist pass concussion legislation to protect youth athletes. Dr. Sabini is now a rehabilitation physician at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, NY. She is the Medical Director of the Northwell Concussion Program which offers comprehensive and evidence-based concussion management with the goal of return to sports, school, work and life reintegration.

Chris Kudlik

Vestibular Therapist
Northwell-Southside Hospital

Chris Kudlik PT, DPT, CBIS, is a Senior Physical Therapist at Southside Hospital/Northwell Health. Chris is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a transitional doctorate degree and has 19 years of experience. Chris specializes in Adult Neurologic and Vestibular Rehabililtation and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Chris is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Stony Brook University Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.

Erica Kaplan

Neuropsychologist
Northwell - Southside Hospital

Erica Kaplan, PhD is an attending neuropsychologist in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Southside Hospital. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis in health psychology and minor in clinical neuropsychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. She completed her residency at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU-Langone Medical Center. She completed her fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation research in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the National Academy of Neuropsychology, where she serves on the Women In Leadership Committee. Her current focus is on factors that impact adjustment to acquired brain injury in acute and post-acute settings as well as treatment of postconcussion syndrome.
