Dr. Franklin McShane received his BSN from the University of Massachusetts, his MSN from the University of Texas, and his DNP from the University of Minnesota. He is a graduate of the US Army Nurse Anesthesia Program and spent 21 years in the Army. After leaving the Army he practiced for 18 years in a small independent private practice anesthesia group in rural Wisconsin. This practice was a clinical site for 4 different Nurse Anesthesia programs. He is now the Chair and Program Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He has published and lectures nationally on regional anesthetic techniques.
