Former CRNA Jack Stem will share his story of substance use disorder and experience providing peer assistance to CRNAs and SRNAs. He’ll impart understanding on why it’s important to get help before addiction becomes threatening or terminal to life or career.

Mr. Stem is a former CRNA with over 23 years of recovery. He is currently the chair of the Peer Assistance Committee and has been a peer assistance advisor since 2005 for the Ohio State Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Jack has consulted with a nursing license defense attorney since 2008, and is currently a chemical dependency counselor and lead counselor of the Suboxone Intensive Outpatient program at Northland Interventions in Milford, Ohio.
