This session will give an overview of the NBCRNA Credentialing Program, the program evolution and evaluation and NBCRNA initiatives.

Mr. Wicks is a former president of the AANA and is currently serving as Vice President of the NBCRNA. Prior to his election to the NBCRNA Board, Terry chaired the CPC Continuing Education and Professional Activity Subcommittee. Terry is also the NBCRNA liaison to the AANA Board of Directors

Dennis Spence, PhD, MS, CRNA

Dr. Spence is a staff nurse anesthetist and clinical researcher who currently serves as the Senior Nurse Executive at a small overseas hospital. He is an Adjunct Faculty in the Texas Wesleyan University DNAP program, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Graduate School of Nursing. Dr. Spence serves on the NBCRNA Board of Directors and on the TriService Nursing Research Program Advisory Council, is a journal reviewer for the AANA journal, Contributing Editor for Anesthesia Abstracts and Lecturer for CRNA Webinars. He is a former IRB Chair at a large military academic medical center. His research interests include obstructive sleep apnea, patient safety, and obstetrical anesthesia.
