Answering the Call: Independent, Rural Practice and You (.5 Class A CE)

This presentation will include an overview of the essential elements of independent, rural practice and the establishment that a need exists in this practice setting, the challenges facing the CRNA who is practicing or considering a practice in a rural facility.

Mike Frame graduated from his anesthesia program in 2004. Dr. Frame has embraced a diverse clinical practice since graduating, including a decade in independent, rural practice. Mike has served his state association as President for two terms. He is currently serving as the CRNA member on the West Virginia Governor appointed Joint Advisory Council on Limited Prescriptive Authority. In April of 2017, Dr. Frame joined the faculty of the CAMC School of Nurse Anesthesia where he serves as a full-time didactic instructor and the Associate Program Director.
