Difficult Conversations: Talking About the Elephant in the Room (1 Class A CE)

Have you ever wanted a raise but were hesitant to ask? Have you ever disagreed with the proposed conduct of an anesthetic? Nurse Anesthetists enter into difficult conversations on a daily basis. It may be personal such as a conversation with a spouse or it may be professional when you want to delay an anesthetic to wait for further testing. This presentation will try to provide some of the tools necessary to get the conversation to "YES". Discussion will include common pitfalls, how to prepare for the conversation and how to start the conversation.
