Guide Program Manager
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Alyssa Wilson is the Guide Program Manager at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. She works directly with the dedicated group of approximately 90 volunteers who offer public tours for the museum in the areas of art, nature, and architecture. Collaborating with various departments, she manages the development of tours, trainings, and content necessary for the 3 programs of tour guides within her division. Previously, Alyssa worked in the public programs department at the St. Louis Art Museum. She also collaborated on a community exhibition at the Scott Joplin State Historic Site in St. Louis, developing the interpretation and design that is currently installed at the site. Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in Museum Studies and History from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
