Lawrence Kosinski, MD, MBA, has practiced Gastroenterology for over 25 years and is one of the Managing Partners of the Illinois Gastroenterology Group (IGG), a large single specialty medical practice formed through the merger of four independent practices in suburban Chicago. Dr. Kosinski holds numerous leadership positions including: Board of Directors of Advocate Sherman Hospital and Chairman of the Practice Management and Economics Committee for the American Gastroenterological Association. He also is a member of the Advisory Board of the Illinois Health Information Exchange. His passion has been in Healthcare IT and how it can be used to create practice efficiencies and improve quality through the use of Clinical Decision Support tools and Patient Engagement Tools. Dr. Kosinski has national publications and has had multiple speaking engagements nationally for HIT. He recently published a book entitled, The PVC Diet.
