Turner, J, MBA, MHA,, assumed his duties February, 2010 and is responsible for directing the business operation of both the for-profit corporation and an outpatient joint venture for the Franciscan Hospital Alliance and the Community Hospitals of indiana, Inc. This multi-specialty group is the largest GI group in the state and is focused on developing a comprehensive Digestive Health Institute in the Indianapolis area. Mr Turner has over 35 years of experience in both major hospital systems as a senior officer and major medical group ranging in size from 15 to 330 doctors. He is considered a seasoned management professional with comprehensive experience in both for-profit and not- for-profit healthcare organizations and has considerable experience in all facets of large hospitals and medical center operations, academic faculty practices, medical group administration, managed care contracts, utilization review, new business ventures, trauma centers, creating orthopedic institutes, budgeting, facility construction, and multi-state physician referral programs. Mr. Turner has worked over the last 5 years to build a 9-hospital network throughout Indiana to support his medical groups business and clinical ventures.
