Dr. Shahnaz Sultan is a gastroenterologist and health services researcher at the Center for Chronic Disease Outcomes Research at the Minneapolis VA Health System, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Her research is focused on understanding factors related to adherence to colonoscopy completion and bowel preparation and developing a peer navigator program to improve colonoscopy outcomes. Additionally, she is interested in guideline development using the GRADE framework.
