Dr. Saltzman currently serves as the Director of Endoscopy at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Director of the Brigham and Women's Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Program. He is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is actively involved in patient care, teaching, clinical research, and administration. His areas of expertise include upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage and all areas of endoscopy. He has served as the President of the New England Endoscopy Society and as ACG's Governor for Massachusetts. Dr. Saltzman has authored more than 200 original articles, reviews, and chapters. His editorial activities include being an Associate Editor of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Section Editor for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy for UpToDate. He is the immediate past Chair of ACG's Educational Affairs Committee, and currently serves as a trustee of the ACG.
