Dr. Vivek Kaul is Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is in full time academic practice with 16 years experience in the field. His clinical, research and education efforts are focused in the field of advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including advanced ERCP, interventional EUS, pancreatic diseases, esophageal endotherapy, and hepatobiliary diseases. He has published several articles in the field, presents regularly at national and international meetings, is a reviewer for several journals and is a sought after speaker. He is a Fellow of the ACG, ASGE, and AGA. He also served as the ACG Governor for the Northern New York region. He is passionate about teaching, training and innovation in endoscopy and regularly shares his expertise at centers and workshops nationally and around the world.
