John Clarke is Director of the Esophageal Program and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Stanford University. He recently moved to Stanford from Johns Hopkins University last summer, where he had been the Clinical Director of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and the Clinical Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Neurogastroenterology & GI Motility. He completed medical school at Columbia University, residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University and advanced motility training at Northwestern University.
