Darren M. Brenner, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Surgery at Northwestern University. He is the director of the Neurogastroenterology, Motility, and Functional Bowel Collaborative and Motts Tonelli GI Physiology Laboratory. Dr. Brenner's clinical and research pursuits focus upon motility disorders of the mid- and hindgut and he has published multiple articles in these domains. He lectures regionally, nationally, and internationally on behalf of the college. He is a member of ACG's Education Committee and the Self-Assessment Test Subcommittee, and is an associate editor for The American Journal of Gastroenterology.
