Dr. Abdo is a consultant physician and gastroenterologist, and intrventional endoscopist. His areas of interest include: ERCP, variceal bleeding, capsule endoscopy, HBV infection, and HCC. Dr. Abdo is the Secretary General of the Sudanese Society of Gastroenterologyand of the PanArab Association of Gastroenterology. He also serves as the Director of WGO Khartoum Training Centre and the General Director of the National Centre for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases. Dr. Abdo received his medical degree at the Kuban State Academy Russia and did training in gastroenterology at NCGLD in Sudan.
