APPRECIATION! EXCITEMENT! ENTHUSIASM! THE ENGAGEMENT CLINIC IS OPEN!
Our staff are the reason we are able to do the great work we do. Keeping them engaged, excited and enthusiastic about the work they do keeps our clients safe, happy and involved in the community. Appreciating them for all they do should be our focus 365 days a year.
In this two part series, International Engagement Specialist, Christopher Littlefield, will walk your leadership through an interactive exploration of employee engagement.
In Part One, Chris will share the latest findings from the world of employee engagement along with key lessons learned from his work with over 25 Chapters of The Arc. Participants will be guided through an interactive process with their peers to analyze their Chapter People Strategy (or lack thereof!) and begin to identify key opportunities for enhancement.
Whether a chapter of one or hundreds, take the opportunity to step away from your never-ending to do list and make time to take care of you, and your biggest asset… your people.
Chris Littlefield, TEDx Speaker and AcknowledgementWorks Founder will conduct The Engagement Clinic at NCE’s Professional Development Seminar.
Chris has spent the last seven years living and working around the world. He spent four years living in Beirut, Lebanon, and currently resides in Santiago, Chile. Chris works with individuals and teams from around the globe and across industries. With over 10 years of experience designing and leading programs that create understanding and trust between youth and adults from areas that have seen protracted international conflicts, such as the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Northern Ireland, Chris has developed a keen depth of knowledge and insight into the dynamics of human relationships. He has translated this knowledge into the development of AcknowledgmentWorks’ highly interactive consulting, training and coaching services. Based jointly in Santiago, Chile, and the United States, Chris has worked with Fidelity Investments, Kraft Foods, the Lebanese Postal Service, US Department of State, the United Nations and more.
Chris received training from Harvard University in negotiation, is certified in mediation, and has a BA in Global Interactions from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. See Chris in action at TEDxBeirut 2012 as he shares his multi-year research project studying the hidden role of recognition in our work and personal lives.
