Shared Interest (SI)
For the past 12 years, the USC School of Cinematic Arts has been active in international education with its relationships with university and other institutions’ film and media programs. The school has also been involved with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ American Film Showcase (AFS). In 2017, we will travel to nearly 40 countries for workshops, presentations, and film screenings about female empowerment, diversity, civil society, the environment, and technology. AFS is aimed at encouraging young people to make and tell their stories.
