The current landscape in Mexico, while delicate economically and politically, has shown much progress on the internationalization of higher education. However, limited budgets, inflexible curricula, and unreliable access to technology continue to be challenges. Learn strategies AMPEI and its partners have been developing to overcome these challenges. This session is presented by the Mexican Association for International Education (AMPEI).

América Lizárraga is Full Time Professor from the Faculty of International Studies and Public Policy at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, UAS. PhD student in Management of Peace and Conflict at the University of Granada, Spain, Master in United States and Canada Studies from UAS. Degree in International Relations from the Technological University of Sinaloa. She has performed as Coordinator of the mobility student program and Director of International Relations at UAS. She is currently General Director of International Relations and Outreach office as well as President of the Mexican Association for International Education, AMPEI.
