Representatives from EnglishUSA, UCIEP, and U.S. government agencies will respond to questions on topics related to regulatory challenges and advocacy efforts for intensive English programs.

Sean Cochran

Director, International Recruitment
California State University-Long Beach

Sean Cochran holds an MA in Linguistics from California State University, Fullerton. In his current position as Director of the International Recruitment at California State University Long Beach, he develops CSU Long Beach's relationship with educational partners around the world. He lived overseas in Southeast Asia while researching minority languages. He taught grammar, writing, and pronunciation for several years in the US at both the university and community college level before taking on administrative responsibilities. Sean has also taught international professional training workshops, mentored faculty, and advised ESL students.

Cheryl Delk-Le Good

Executive Director
EnglishUSA

Cheryl Delk-Le Good is the Executive Director of EnglishUSA, an organization of over 420 accredited intensive English programs (IEPs) in the United States. She previously served for 12 years as the IEP Director/Senior Lecturer at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Delk-Le Good has been active in the field, having been on the Executive Boards of EnglishUSA and the University Consortium of Intensive English Programs (UCIEP) as well as serving the NAFSA community as IEP Network Leader. She also served as a Commissioner and Treasurer for CEA. She received her M.A.s in TESOL and French from Michigan State University.

Patricia Juza

Director
University of Colorado-Boulder

Patricia Juza is the Director of the International English Center at the University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, she was the Director of Global Programs at Baruch College, City University of New York. She has served in various leadership roles including, the UCIEP board of directors, the EnglishUSA executive board, the NAFSA Region X team, and New York State TESOL board. Currently, she is the Immediate Past President of UCIEP. Patricia has given numerous talks on international education program development, policy, regulation, and accreditation for the US Department of Commerce, US Department of State/EducationUSA, TESOL, and NAFSA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University, and her Master of Arts in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University.
