Cheryl Delk-Le Good

Executive Director
EnglishUSA

Cheryl Delk-Le Good is the Executive Director of EnglishUSA, an organization of over 420 accredited intensive English programs (IEPs) in the United States. She previously served for 12 years as the IEP Director/Senior Lecturer at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Delk-Le Good has been active in the field, having been on the Executive Boards of EnglishUSA and the University Consortium of Intensive English Programs (UCIEP) as well as serving the NAFSA community as IEP Network Leader. She also served as a Commissioner and Treasurer for CEA. She received her M.A.s in TESOL and French from Michigan State University.

Patricia Juza

Patricia Juza is the Director of the International English Center at the University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, she was the Director of Global Programs at Baruch College, City University of New York. She has served in various leadership roles including, the UCIEP board of directors, the EnglishUSA executive board, the NAFSA Region X team, and New York State TESOL board. Currently, she is the Immediate Past President of UCIEP. Patricia has given numerous talks on international education program development, policy, regulation, and accreditation for the US Department of Commerce, US Department of State/EducationUSA, TESOL, and NAFSA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University, and her Master of Arts in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University.

William V. Larkin

Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training

William V. Larkin, Ed.D., has served as the Executive Director of ACCET - the Accrredting Council for Continuing Education and Training - since 2013. His career began in university student affairs work including early responsibilities as an Internaional Student Advisor and NAFSA member. Dr. Larkin has also served as the president of both a not-for- profit and a for-profit college and is the former higher education executive officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Patricia Szasz

Assistant Dean, Language & Professional Programs
Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

Patricia Szasz is the Assistant Dean for Language & Professional Programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS). Patricia received her bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the University of Michigan and her master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from MIIS. Prior to graduate school, Patricia taught English as foreign language in Milan and Rome, Italy. After receiving her master's degree, Patricia became Director of the Institute's Intensive English Programs. Now as Assistant Dean, she manages all the intensive and custom language programs on campus as well as professional development courses for language teachers, translators and interpreters. Patricia has served on the board of California Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (CATESOL) and is currently President of EnglishUSA.

Heidi E. Vellenga

Associate Director
CEA Commission on English Language Program Accreditation

Dr. Heidi Vellenga is Associate Director of the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), where she oversees the accreditation process, supports the work of the Commission, and serves as staff liaison to the Standards Review Committee. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics, an MA in TESOL and has over 20 years’ experience in the field as a post-secondary English-as-a-Second-Language instructor and intensive English program administrator in the US and South Korea. Her research interests include instructional effectiveness, teacher development, and language program administration.
