Chelsea Kindred is Director of Alumni Development and Research at Academic Programs International (API) where she develops and manages alumni learning, research, curriculum and digital environments for participants in the API Learning and Engagement digital badge program. Chelsea co-authored “Making Meaning of Education Abroad: A Journal for the Returnee Experience” and wrote “Re-Entry: Advising Strategies and Programming” in NAFSA’s Guide to Education Abroad: 4th Edition. Chelsea has presented extensively on returnee learning and engagement, including developing and training workshop "Current Trends in Education Abroad Alumni Programming". Chelsea is a recipient of NAFSA Region III Outstanding Service to International Education award.

AIFS Study Abroad
Angela Manginelli is the Director of Alumni and Diversity Initiatives for the American Institute for Foreign Study. She manages alumni career and professional development programming, facilitates training and advocates for inclusive practices for AIFS Study Abroad participants. She co-authored the "Making Meaning of Education Abroad" participant and facilitator's guide for NAFSA in 2018 and was a trainer for the 2016/17 NAFSA annual conferences Current Topic Workshop: Current Trends in Education Abroad Alumni Programming. Angela served as a member of the Forum on Education Abroad Best Practices for Returned Students Working Group and is the New Conference Liaison and Vice President for Lessons From Abroad. She earned a BA and an MA from Ball State University.
Communications & Marketing Specialist
Arizona State University
Carrie is the Communications and Marketing Specialist in the Study Abroad Office at Arizona State University. Prior to joining ASU, she worked in various capacities promoting education abroad and meaningful travel in the .com realm and taught communication classes to undergraduate students. Her responsibilities include developing and executing communication and marketing strategies to increase study abroad participation at Arizona State University.
