Bill Elliott serves as Director of the Office of International and Cultural Affairs at Missouri University of Science and Technology.. During his 20 year career, he has worked to admit and advise international and graduate students at three U.S. institutions of higher education. In addition, Bill is responsible for assistance in keeping S&T in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security s regulations pertaining to non-immigrant international students.
Bill has served as NAFSA Chair of the International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community, NAFSA Region V Lead Coach for NAFSA Academy, and served twice a Chairperson of the Study Illinois international student recruitment consortium. Presenting nationally and internationally on such topics as crisis management in an international office, international student recruitment, and use of state consortia for recruitment has taken Bill to 26 countries, and helped to increase enrollments at institutions where he has been employed.

Amy VanSurksum has worked in international education for 20 years, with experience in study abroad, international student advising and international admissions at both the secondary and post-secondary education levels. She is currently serving as Past-Chair for NAFSA's International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community. A frequent workshop and session presenter at regional and national conferences, she currently works as the Associate Dean of International Student Services and Study Abroad at South Puget Sound Community College in OIympia, Washington.
