Erich E. Dietrich

Assistant Vice President and Associate Dean

Erich Dietrich, Ph.D, is Assistant Vice President for NYU Global Programs and Associate Dean of Global Affairs at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, leading comprehensive internationalization strategy. He is a member-leader of NAFSA’s International Education Leadership KC and serves on the advisory board of IIE’s Brazil International Academic Partnership Program. He holds a Ph.D. from NYU in history and education, and is a 2016 winner of the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrator award to India.

Ann Mason

Ann Mason has over 20 years’ experience in international education, higher education administration and US-Latin America academic cooperation. Ann currently directs her own international higher education consulting firm, Mason Education Group, based in Bogotá, Colombia. She advises universities, government entities and foundations on internationalization strategy. Her previous positions include Executive Director of the US-Colombia Fulbright Commission, and Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at the University of the Andes, both in Bogotá. She serves on the boards of directors of NAFSA, the University of Rosario and of the US-Colombia Binational Center, and is a member of the Accreditation Standards Steering Committee of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA). Ann’s NAFSA service includes Chair of the TLS Knowledge Community and Chair of the Latin American Forum. Ann holds a Ph.D. in political science from Yale University.
