U.S. Department of State: Current Visa Issues

Participants will develop an understanding of visa processing and outcomes. Come prepared to learn how a consular officer makes decisions regarding an applicant’s visa eligibility. Gain knowledge that can help inform office policy, strategy, and advising, and learn about tools for addressing visa processing issues. Officials from the Department of State Visa Office have been invited to participate.

She has extensive experience representing multinational corporations and entrepreneurial venture. Liz is a frequent speaker at NAFSA and AILA locally, regionally, and nationally. She's a frequent guest speaker at institutions across the United States. She has served in a variety of leadership roles including AILA committees, task forces, as well as her leadership as a a former Reg Ombud for Region XI, past Chair of NAFSA's Employment-Based Subcommittee (ISSRP) and current GRAC member.
