Joyce Hamilla is the Director of International Partnerships at Portland State University. Her research interests include cross-cultural cognitive science and collective security regimes. Hamilla joined PSU from the Federal Government, where she managed partnerships for the Department of Defense. She was previously an Air Force officer and Associate at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. Hamilla holds an M.A. from the National University of Singapore and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
