John Gradel is the Assistant Director of the Institute for International Studies at Lock Haven University, where he serves as a Designated School Official and Alternate Responsible Officer. He has presented on a wide-range of topics in international education from working with study abroad students to international students. He received his MA in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.

Noora Alie is currently the International Student Adviser at Slippery Rock University, where she serves as the Designated School Official and Alternate Responsible Officer. In this role, she coordinates international student support services, immigration assistance, and cross-cultural adjustment resources for international students. Prior to joining Slippery Rock University, Noora worked at Robert Morris University as the Admissions Counselor for International Programs. Noora is an alumni of the NAFSA Academy class ‘12 and focused her research on “How Community Support Contributes to the Success of International Students.” Noora earned her Master of Science in Global Leadership from Duquesne University.
