Elisa has been working within the international education field advising international students and scholars for over 5 years. She joined Rollins College in March of 2015 serving as the Assistant Director of the Office of International Student & Scholar Services. Prior to this role she served as the Assistant Director of International Student & Scholar Services at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Elisa recently helped lead the NAFSA F1 Student Advising for Beginners workshop as a trainer alongside three other colleagues. She attended The University of Tampa, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Culture & Studies with a minor in French and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration Degree at Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. During her time at The University of Tampa she was able to study abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain, where she immersed herself into the Spanish culture. This allows her to understand the challenges of being an international student in a new country. She has a true passion for ensuring that all international students enjoy and cherish their time spent studying in the United States.
