Hazel Lander

Study Abroad and Exchanges Officer
University of Kent International Office
Canterbury, United Kingdom

I have worked at the University of Kent since 1993 in the field of Study Abroad. I head up the Study Abroad team, with responsibility for admitting all study abroad/exchange students. I have developed robust procedures to enhance a smooth operation with all stakeholders, both internal and external.

I have been responsible for building up new partnerships and maintaining good working relationships with all our partners around the world.

I regularly travel to the States, visiting our existing partners and potential partners. I also attend the NAFSA annual conferences and represent Kent at NACAC/Idealist Fairs.

I am passionate about the benefits of study abroad and I hope this passion is passed on to future students.
