This poster presents strategies to enhance the commitment of the entire university community in the internationalization process in order to better prepare their students to become global citizens.

Rima Mattar

Dr. Rima Mattar is Deputy President for International Affairs and Global Initiatives at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) - Lebanon. She has a PhD in Language Sciences and she is faculty member of USEK Faculty of Letters. Dr Rima Mattar has a post-graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Chester (UK).
As Deputy President for International Affairs and Global Initiatives, Dr. Rima Mattar is involved in several activities to promote internationalization namely, the enhancement of international education, and to promote USEK on the international scene. In this context, she led the participation of USEK in the American Council on Education’s Internationalization Laboratory and she is the Chair of the Internationalization Task Force at USEK. Dr. Rima Mattar is now leading research and developing strategic plans on internationalization at home and curriculum internationalization.

Ghada Karam

Dr. Ghada Karam is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and the Director of the Center for Clinical Studies at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik. She has a PhD in International law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) and a Master in Law (LL.M.) for New York University School of Law. Dr. Ghada Karam is the Dean’s Assistant for International Affairs at the Faculty of Law and the coordinator of the double Master in Law in cooperation with McKinney School of Law - Indiana University, USA. She is also part of the team which leads the participation of USEK in the Internationalization Laboratory of the American Council on Education.
