Hanni Geist is the DAAD representative in San Francisco responsible for marketing activities in the Western region of the US.
Hanni received her Magistra Artium in North American Studies and Linguistics
from Free University Berlin, and her Masters in German from Arizona State
For the past 8 years, she worked closely with students and faculty while she worked for the FU-BEST study abroad program in Berlin, as a German instructor at Arizona State University, and now as the DAAD representative in San Francisco.

Mar Roig Ripoll

Mar Roig Ripoll is in charge of communications and promotion of higher education at the French Embassy in the US. She is based in the French Consulate in San Francisco. Mar spent 7 years working at the University of Montpellier (France), where she went from being a grant writer for European funds to the Director of International Relations. She holds a master's degree in European Studies from Aix-Marseille University and a master's degree in International Relations from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium).
Mar is a long-time proponent of academic and cultural exchange, and she is an impassioned defendant of the universal access to international education.
