Sabine Sainte-Rose

Sabine Sainte-Rose is Associate Director for Promotion and Internationalisation in the International and External Affairs of the Université Grenoble Alpes, France.
She has worked in five different countries, being in leadership positions in the French diplomacy and cultural network, developing extensive skills in management, academic policy, marketing; PR, and curriculum development.
Since 2002, she has enjoyed managing diverse teams of international professionals. Sabine is Steering group member of the EAIE Expert Community Strategy and Management.

Karen Blackney

Karen Blackney has worked in international education, including recruitment, admissions, partnership development, student services, and study abroad, for over 20 years. Her achievements include the introduction of one of the UK’s first Summer Schools, the development of an International Foundation programme in Dubai and London, and the set-up and management of offices around the globe. Karen spent two years as Chair of the Sub-Group for India, London Universities International Partnership (LUIP) network and has recently been a key player in AURORA, a network of European universities. As Head of UEA International, Karen currently manages a team of 40 international office staff, based both at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) and the UEA’s overseas offices. She has a BA Drama and Theatre Studies and an MA Human Resource Management from Middlesex University.
