Oriana Izquierdo is the Coordinator for ConnectDR Network. Serving as a bridge between Dominican Republic (DR) and US universities and bringing together the private and public sector as well as the civil societies in the DR. She has often presented on the academic opportunities between the two countries and represented for the DR HEIs. Prior to managing the launch of the ConnectDR network, Ms. Izquierdo coordinated the efforts of DR HEIs' under the 100,000 Strong in the Americas initiative. Her previous work consisted of international development projects with USAID in the LAC or African region with a focus on education and youth. She had presented in trainings, project updates and project results to an array of target audience. Ms. Izquierdo has studied international development at American University.
