Paolo Daniele is the coordinator of inbound Fulbright, exchange and visiting student programs at the University of Oregon, where he also serves as an international student advisor. He chairs selection committees for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme and often presents on promoting internationalization efforts in rural Japan. Owing to his extensive abroad experience, Paolo founded an organization to assist returnees from abroad job experiences with re-integration, life and work place issues. Previously, Paolo served as program manager for the UCSF Institute for Quantitative Biosciences where he was called to assist in the marketing aspect of partnering industry with academia, and for UCLA’s Postdoctoral Scholar Affairs Office. He earned his MPA with a focus on international education from California State University Long Beach.

Candance graduated from SIT Graduate Institute with a Masters in International Education and Washington University in Saint Louis with double Bachelors in Biology and Religious Studies. She worked previously worked at a residential, intensive English-language preparation school in Massachusetts. She has experience as an advisor and educator for international students both abroad and domestically. Candance has lived in China, St Louis, Texas, Vermont, and Massachusetts. In addition to advising international students one-on-one at UO, Candance also works on the social integration program, ExploOregon, piloted the International Liaison program, helped recruitment of Chinese students with the Admissions and Recruitment Department, and serves as the ISSS liaison to the UO’s Health Center.
